      Pros

      Decent benefits package Nice coworkers You learn a lot about cars and financing. Unlimited overtime, and you always get your overtime on top of your hourly or incentive.

      Cons

      Pay is incentive or hourly. It is whichever is higher, not both. Splitting incentive is not always even. You might work with a customer for 6 hours and the other consultant worked with them for 20 minutes and you have to split the sale. Mixed direction from management. One manager will tell you to do one thing and the next will tell you not to do it. Constantly changing schedule. You will usually not get two days off together and they will most likely be weekdays. And the days you have off change weekly, which makes it hard to plan things outside of work.

      Pros

      Good fellow employees, for the most part. Rewards of helping customers. Able to deal with customers in an honest, transparent manner.

      Cons

      Sales consultants are seriously underpaid. Stores are now under-staffed. Expectations and processes for sales consultants have risen over the past two years.
