Boot camp for sales

Pros

The training that I received at CarMax was like going through boot camp for sales. The business model they have come up with is awesome and it makes for a comfortable and enjoyable environment to work in.

Cons

It is 100% commission, so if you have a bad month, you really are out of luck.

Lots of Fun and Money

Pros

Great customer traffic. Lots of chances to make a sale. Good product.

Cons

Work hours. You do have to work a little late now and then to meet with customers. Comes with sales no matter where you go.

Tons of inventory, computers walk you through your process, easy financing,

Cons

cars are unreliable, everything ends up on your shoulder and you pay for it in the end even if it isnt your fault, managers don't take care of your customers if your away, cars arn't taken through 128 pt inspections, had 2 returns in a month then coached on how I'm not selling any cars, managers cannot/will not help even if they want too.
