      Very unprofessional work environment

      one weekend off every 6 weeks

      I resigned yesterday from the Boynton Beach, FL store. I was a Sales Consultant. The sales management team is very inexperienced. They only coach employees when their numbers are not up to target. They sit and watch employees verbally abuse each other, often in front of the customer and if the abuser is a friend of the manager then they look the other way. I made the mistake of pointing this out to one of the managers and not only didn't he want to hear about it he actually defended the abusers.

      Pros

      Variety of jobs/duties. Upper management good. Some jobs allow flexible scheduling. Lots of movement. Coworkers nice and professional. Facilities clean and room for breaks.

      Cons

      Some middle management is short sided and difficult to approach. Seem offended at the idea of improving or enhancing efficiency.

      Friendships with the other consultants

      Cons

      Management does not care about its workers and has no loyalty toward them. They are disrespectful to the employees because they believe the workers feel they have no where else to go. People get stuck working there for many years and then realize it was a low paying waste of time. My advise to them is get an education or training in some kind of field so you won't wake up one morning and realize they have wasted their lives on a dead end company that sees you as a semi warm piece of meat.
