Business Outlook
Pros
Most colleagues are genuinely nice people and very collaborative. The company makes quality and necessary medical products. Some of the benefits (401k match and side programs under medical insurance) are nice.
Cons
Corporate struggles with strategy, resulting in shortfalls the last few years. This has resulted in hiring freezes and bonuses well below target. Corporate leadership is ultra woke and emphasizes programs on race, gender, and LBGTQ over professional development. They send company wide emails taking political positions on candidates and legislation. The medical insurance isn’t great and premiums are high. They charge you more for insurance and give less FSA/HSA if you earn more salary.
