Pros

This company has a sweet benefits package, but the clinic still feels like a private practice. They not only offer, but made sure I took advantage of the vacation gift cards or Airbnb options. They are as involved as we want them to be stepping in to help with employee conflict, client complaints, etc, or they act as silent partner, if our clinic has a department handled. The company offers many hours of free CE and my request to expand my continuing education was approved. I am allowed to practice medicine how I want and see whatever species I feel comfortable seeing.

Cons

Our town has had some sticker shock to some of the price increases. The frequency the first 2 years was tough, but it has slowed down drastically. Prices have soared across the board, so I can only blame the economy.

Pros

CareVet truly lives its mission to make a positive impact on the lives of pets, their people, and the veterinary teams who care for them. Leadership is thoughtful, approachable, and open to new ideas — it’s a culture where innovation is encouraged and feedback is valued. I’ve had opportunities to work cross-functionally, build new initiatives from scratch, and collaborate with talented, passionate people who care deeply about the work. The company is making real investments in modernizing operations, improving client and team experience, and setting the business up for long-term success. There’s a strong sense of purpose and momentum, and it’s exciting to be part of that growth.

Cons

Like many growing organizations, priorities move quickly and things can evolve fast. It’s an energizing environment for people who embrace change and innovation
