Pros
I was able to work with a variety of cutting edge tools and improve the processes of our technical pipeline, which was valuable. Also the engineering team has members who were fully remote before the COVID-19 pandemic so that was a relatively seamless transition. The compensation was also competitive. It’s also nice that the product supports family caregivers and people who need care, so it felt like the product I was helping to create actually had a positive impact on society.
Cons
On the team I was on at least, work-life balance wasn’t the best. Otherwise no cons really.
