Pros

Good pay, good benefits, Cheap meat (fringe Benefit) Definitely if you are motivated and aggressive, you can be promoted. That being said, you can definitely be demoted.

Cons

Many hours, long work weeks, many demands, large amount of paperwork. It is difficult to keep a stable work life balance. Sometimes your shift and department is changed.
