Pros

The company has been around for years so if you fit in the brutal political culture you could possibly work for them your entire life as are most low to mid level managers.

Cons

Too much politics for a work place. The politics distract work and kill employee moral. Lower and mid level management are always pushing their agendas on other employees. If you have a horrible manager it's not worth it.

Pros

Great people, great benefits, great mission, down-to-earth and transparent leadership

Cons

IT is not a core competency, Salaries are not competitive, Internal mobility is too difficult. Way too many weekends, and early morning/late night meetings. Sense of teams has been all but lost.

Pros

If you work hard and have average or better skill, Cargill will try to help you reach your full potential, helping you find a place you are passionate about.

Cons

Cargill has become increasingly like public companies, letting good, dedicated people go when the company experiences short term financial stress. This is a recent cultural development in Cargill.
