Very good people-oriented culture
Pros
Good people -oriented culture, strong focus to chose people who fit it, a lot of opportunities to learn (external and internal trainings, new challenges and projects, opportunities for career growth ( i got promotion after 2,5 years). Cargill consists of wide range of business units and it gives a lot opportunties for professional development - getting assignments in different BUs or working with all BUs in service function you can learn different business practices, equipment and so one. Though there is no common cross BUs system of career planning, all the vacancies are posted and internal candidates have first priority. I really enjoyed my work and my teams (HRSS and Cargill Meat Europe Efremov plant) and decided to leave company only because of desire to move to another city. Also there were not so many overtimes in comparison to previous big internal company where i worked.
Cons
Different Cargill business units have cultures that in some ways are really different, so i would defenetely recommend to work in several BUs and would recommend with some reservations to work in others.
