Pros

Convenient location; great people at the non-managerial/executive level. The "worker bees" work incredibly hard and long hours - very dedicated with little recognition. Some strong ISDs with limited access to graphics support. QC is a one-person army.

Cons

Terrible performance at the management and executive level; very unprofessional and passive aggressive. Tons of money is wasted on a top-heavy team with no contracts to actually manage resulting in massive lay offs at the bottom-level. Those left end up being over worked and exhausted. The President is all smokes and mirrors with minimal experience in actual contracting; he tries to pull the "military" card constantly which is insulting to a family with a strong, life-long military service background. HR is extremely unprofessional; I had no exit interview because they just don't want to hear it. In short, it's a hot a mess! And to be forewarned, they encourage existing personnel to write glowing remarks to cushion the onslaught of negative reviews.

Pros

None, I can think of none.

Cons

From the CEO to the President to HR, upper management doesn't know how to run a profitable company or maintain good employee work ethics.

Similar to my other responses, we are under no illusions that we need to continually seek to improve. We constantly challenge ourselves to improve operations, employee relations, business development, etc. I don't think an honest, objective person can view the past several years and state things are being done the same way each and every time. Further, while we did not meet all of the goals we set at the beginning of 2016, we are a healthy, profitable company. I am happy to provide insight to anyone that is interested. My email address is allen.price@teamcarney.com. Disputing the 'alternative facts' on Glassdoor is probably not going to help anyone, so please reach out if you have questions or concerns.

Fighting and struggling

Pros

Nice location, if you're into the city. At least when I was there, free parking. They've been losing money for a while, so that may have gone away.

Cons

Fighting and struggling. The fighting is between management and staff, and between management and management. The CEO likes to set his people against each other as if they were in gladiatorial combat and then see who will be the most vicious and ruthless. That person will be promoted; the others will be viewed as weak. Just as with the gladiatorial games, if you refuse to fight, you're the loser. The struggling is to get work for the company. The staff has shrunk by about 85% since I was there as the company loses contract after contract. New contracts are not coming in. Instead of developing efficiency, the owner requires people to work harder, not smarter.
