      great work-life balance with the company. Not just another body, but the company cares about the person

      Pros

      Great partner group who truly cares for the employees. Good pto 4 weeks. Good and quick advancement with above market compensation. Great way to Kickstart career and get great experience. Flexibility.

      Cons

      Busy season. High turnover typical of public accounting. Uneven workload distribution. Mixed level of staff compentancy. Corporate IT group and complete lack of competancy in IT support.

      Pros

      Everyone at my location is cordial to one another so it's a pretty calm work environment.

      Cons

      The corporation seems to be on the verge of an implosion. Some of the best talent has left, many of the staff are now new and don't know what they're doing, and their fees for clients have SKYROCKETED. The last point is most notable because several clients I personally know have left and several have told me they will not be using the services of Carr, Riggs, and Ingram again because of the massive fee increase for tax preparation this year that no one was warned about before signing their engagement letters.
