Pros

I enjoyed my time at CRI Nashville. My previous experience was Big-4 accounting, and the two are like night and day. While you will always be busy during the dreaded 'busy season,' with CRI, someone who is disciplined doesn't have to let their life outside of work go to the wayside. Also, if you're into healthcare, that practice is growing rapidly.

Cons

There are still growing pains in this firm from several acquisitions that happened in recent years, which leads to subtle conflicts in culture. Nothing major as I would consider the office as a whole to be apolitical. But there were a few staff who were trending that way, which could eventually turn the place sour in a few years if it's not addressed.

Pros

CRI Nashville is a great firm to work for long-term. It's growing and competitive, yet there is also a healthy work-life balance encouraged there. Very professional firm with a large, diverse client base that is great for networking and exposure in various industries. CRI allows you to do high level work, but still offers the flexibility for a personal life and family time, which is a great find in public accounting. The partners in Nashville are very generous and great to work with and learn from.

Cons

As the company is growing rapidly via acquisitions and trying to bring uniformity, changes in policies and systems are a regular occurrence, which is a headache to adjust to. Also, different offices have different cultures, including the corporate headquarters, and I can only speak for Nashville's group as having a great group of people to work with. Overall, there are not many cons--it's a great place to work.
