      Pros

      A steady paycheck and good locations across the country. PTO is good - IF you can use it.

      Cons

      Remote work not allowed depending on who you are Younger partners trying to make a name for themselves and step on others "Mean girls" vibes firmwide/clique-y Not enough staff so people are overworked from the corporate level on down

      Pros

      Most of the accountants and clients are friendly. The senior partner is approachable and reasonable.

      Cons

      Admin is gossipy and judgemental at a highly inappropriate level. They will use skillset beyond the scope of work without suitable compensation. Attempts to address these issues results in a retaliatory and hostile work environment. There's spotty communication regarding work expectations. COVID-19 precautions are minimal and attempts to protect yourself are met with scorn.

      Pros

      I've been with the firm for over 10 years and my experience is largely positive with a few caveats. That being said, the pros are not enough to keep me here much longer. Pros: Numerous training opportunities Decent work/life balance depending on your managing partner Decent culture, again depending on your particular location/managing partner

      Cons

      Low pay compared to competitors Behind the times on technology Hardly any diversity No bonuses or other adequate rewards for exemplary work
