Pros

* Flexible working hours that support a good work-life balance. * Smart, capable, and decent engineering team to collaborate with daily.

Cons

1. Micromanagement & Favoritism: The local India Digital Residential HVAC leadership relies heavily on micromanagement. Recognition, appreciation, and career growth are not merit-based; instead, there is clear favoritism and bias in how employees are treated and rewarded. 2. Divided Leadership Narrative: While global US leadership is supportive and positive, local India leadership actively creates an "us vs. them" narrative. They frequently portray global leadership as the adversary to make the team feel dependent on local management for survival. 3. Weaponization of Team Health Metrics: The company-wide quarterly reviews intended to measure team health are being misused by local management. If a team’s overall metrics or ratings drop, leadership does not look for root causes; instead, they use it as an opportunity to target specific individuals for termination under the guise of "organizational restructuring."
