Pros

Decent pay scale. Talented and experienced full time employees, generally willing to help others in their work. Generally easy-going immediate managers.

Cons

Future uncertainty with Carrier selling fire and security business. Typical corporate DEI nonsense. Somewhat top-heavy in management positions. Engineering graduates with next to no experience are quickly moved into leadership positions over much more experienced technicians. Educational hierarchy takes precedence over actual knowledge and ability, as is true at many corporate engineering firms. Leadership seems deluded by their own pretty power-points and resent those who push back with realistic timescales, etc.
