I worked at this community college and want to share an honest account of my experience for anyone considering employment here.
Lack of integrity: In my experience, dishonesty was a real problem — I witnessed behavior from staff and leadership that I can only describe as people lying, cheating, and stealing from the institution. This created a toxic environment where trust was hard to come by.
No path for growth: There is no real support for advancement. I received no meaningful training, and opportunities to move up or develop professionally were essentially nonexistent.
Disorganized operations: Everything felt like it was run "fly by night" — decisions were made haphazardly, with little planning or consistency.
Poor communication: Communication from leadership and across departments was consistently lacking. Important information often didn't reach the people who needed it, which made it difficult to do the job well.
Overall, I can't recommend this as a place to build a career. If you're considering working here, go in with clear eyes about the lack of structure, training, and transparency.
