Pros

It used to be better.

Cons

It's ironic that there were a number of SVP promotions in January after everyone who was laid off had to leave in December. I agree with the reviews that say the areas of Tech Design, PDC, Strategy, and Fabric are toxic due to the spin, chaos, and lies someone has created. New "leadership" has created a lot of false narratives about employees who have been there longer than them, breaking their backs for years to keep these departments running. The recent layoff led to a lot of talented people leaving and keeping some people who cannot do the job. It's very clear the intentions - erase the history and the people who made it possible, and spread lies to pretend you were the one to "fix" everything. The leadership is toxic. You will get gaslighted and burnt out with confusion and inconsistent direction. You'll be expected to proform at level your manager can't and will not do. This place is traumatizing. The worse people are never held accountable.

Pros

As an employee, you can park for free

Cons

A genuine perspective for candidates from an employee- I know the job market is tough out there, but please carefully consider the culture of the company you’re interviewing for. Read through the reviews of the corp office. Some trends for you- leadership guided by politics and the “in” group, no leadership development, few opportunities for growth, outdated return to office mandate, inflexible policies, weak benefit offerings. Employees who have quite literally describe the environment as a waking nightmare. With all of this feedback, maybe the company would decide to invest in sentiment surveys, professional leadership development, and 3rd party ethics and compliance investigations. Instead, they eliminated the HR team and gave more power to the managers who are causing the company to crumble. Zero oversight and a toxic workplace. I only write this review to help some naive job seekers who see a bunch of openings at a historically stable retailers. I wish someone was courageous enough to share this feedback when I was interviewing so I could see the company values for what they are- printed words on a piece of paper. The values are not imbedded in decision making, certainly not in the treatment of people, and absolutely not in support of lives outside of work. Please speak to current employees about their honest experiences (outside of people trying to recruit you). I feel bad for the recruiters who have to put on a show about how great of a company it is. With so many talented employees leaving, they have a lot of jobs to fill.
