There is nothing positive about Cascades.

Cons

They don't care about employees, cut corners on safety and don't hesitate to lie thru their teeth, that includes all the way up to mill manager. They don't blink when they eliminate loyal employees.

Overall it was a good place to work. Family atmosphere. Very small group that cared about getting the work done.

Cons

Company was tight on the purse strings when it came to upgrading equipment. Some bickering amongst employees, especially cross department.

Pros

Plenty of work. Lots of OT. If you are willing to work and learn then there is always a job for you. Follow all safety and osha regulations and requirements.

Cons

Don’t pay enough for all the requirements. They don’t pay out anything for thanksgiving or Christmas expect for what the union contract states. Very strict!
