Pros

I've been able to broaden my technical expertise while working here and making significant contributions to product enhancements. The engineering team's cooperation has helped me hone my problem-solving techniques in actual project environments, and the pace is consistent.

Cons

Onboarding could use more thorough technical documentation, and some procedures feel a little stiff at times.

Pros

The one upside was that the internal tools actually loaded quickly, even if nothing else moved that smoothly.

Cons

The biggest frustration was how unclear expectations were. Assignments were handed out with barely any context, and any questions about requirements were met with vague, incomplete answer. Employees were left interpreting half-explanations and hoping they guessed right - only to be told later that the outcome wasn't what management "had in mind." Instead of offering specific direction, leadership leaned on ambiguity, forcing the team to redo work that could've been done correctly from the beginning.

Pros

CaseGuard is a company where you can genuinely make an impact. Leadership is hands on, accessible, and deeply invested in building a strong product and a strong team. What stands out most is the sense of ownership you get and everyone’s ideas are heard, and contributions actually move the business forward.

Cons

Startup pace isn’t for everyone and things move quickly and you have to be comfortable wearing multiple hats. But if you like building and solving problems, it’s part of the excitement. The benefits package is still catching up to where the company is heading. It’s not fully competitive yet, but leadership is actively working on expanding and improving it, and you can see real effort being made.
