Pros

The works is simple. The customers are generally fun to interact with. Generally it's an alright place. Just beware the gossip and drama that comes with working at a gas station. Try not to talk crap on anyone you work with, it always gets back to them. When people are talking crap on others to you just generally agree, but don't say much back. Don't tell people what they said to you about whoever. Just try to avoid drama, rumors etc. is what I'm getting at here. In half a year working here I've seen a handful of people get fired or leave to avoid getting fired as a consequence of the gossip train and all the crap that gets spread around among employees (and don't think the boss(s) Don't get word of all the stuff people are saying to. That's when they target someone, watch them like a hawk and look for a reason to fire them. If you want to keep this job then don't get chewed up in the social aspect of the job. Just do your job, while being friendly....

Cons

As I said in the paragraph up there, avoid the rumors and drama if you can. You'll get chewed up and people either won't respect you, or will look for ways to get you fired, or your hours will get cut until it's now worth working there. They always find a way.

Pros

Flexible hours for college kids, but they all got weekends off while the non college (adult) workers were always working weekends. I felt like a babysitter when working with kids. So much back biting and drama.

Cons

The pay was very low, management didn't want to hear about it. Had a no cell phone during work hours policy unless you were a favorite, and then they could do whatever they wanted.
