Honest Outlook into Casey's, ideal job for a student

Pros

Good initial pay for a starter job. Ideal for teenage years, (16+). Fun environment. Freedom to visit and socialize with customers and friends.

Cons

Very very small room for growth. No regular pay increases except for a 3 month .25¢ raise. Never amount to anything over $3 above starting wage unless you are the store manager. Assistant Managers and Kitchen Managers work for about $2 over starting wage. Forced to take many hours by management. Not the desired time of day.

My coworkers were truly fantastic and enjoyable people. Pay was decent.

Cons

Definitely not a good job for those that aren't good with people, as that's most of what you do. Not a lot of job security. Once witnessed someone that had been there for several years get a complaint from a customer and corporate fired her.
