Pros

When I joined Casper I knew the company had a lot of business potential, but what I was pleasantly surprised at was how great the culture is! Everyone is friendly, collaborative, and good natured. They are engaged in their work and passionate about changing the sleep industry. It's a joy to come into work each day!

Cons

None that I've experienced to date.

Pros

Casper's culture is the biggest benefit to working at the company. The leaders of the company are open minded to new ideas and it doesn't matter who they come from. This has creative a very collaborative and positive work environment.

Cons

The business grows very quickly and it can be a bit difficult sometimes to keep up. This is obviously a good problem to have, but it requires a decent amount of time spent on focus and saying no to certain opportunities.

Development Team is Heading in the Wrong Direction

Pros

-Office location. -Travel to manufacturing locations. -8-5 work mentality.

Cons

-The new office is sterile, and a lot was promised that never came to fruition. -Pay isn't competitive. -We're now hiring a bunch of Apple people. The company touts its "human-centric design process" and now they're bringing in a bunch of development folks from Apple, the antithesis of that mentality. The development process has already shifted to be more like Apple (internal management systems, don't give a crap about what our customers want, etc.). -There are so many competitors in this space, it's whack-a-mole trying to keep everyone in check.
