Customer-focused, family-focused, great place to work
Pros
Very transparent/honest with the good and the bad. Very bright and talented coworkers. Great mission. Customer-focused, but also family-like atmosphere. Employees bring their kids around. Coworkers helping you out in life, love, work, etc. Healthy snacks and drinks, free lunch on Fridays, lots of events with free food/drinks. Lots of exposure to leadership. Very inspiring CEO. Incredible premium product offering that IMHO is unmatched in the market in VOI and ROI. Depending on position, but lots of flexibility on work location, time-off, work assignments. Standing desks that can rise with a push of a button!!! Challenging work because it is really B2B2C...changing healthcare is not easy! Big name clients. Lots of nice incentives for doing stuff like training, etc. Pretty up-to-date on technology for their employees. Leadership actually solicits questions/opinions from employees and addresses them openly. Generous HSA contribution. Single no-dependent employees pay $0 in premiums for medical, dental, vision. Monthly cellphone reimbursements. Employees get access to Castlight Health too. Stock options. Data oriented decision-making.
Cons
Free lunches are only on Friday versus every day in a lot of tech companies...although you could put together a free lunch using the snacks they have available. Strangely the Company is not yet quite the household name despite having some big name clients and considering how transformative the software is to the clients' employees. That is going to change as the company grows. Transit coverage would be nice. Also we know that the CEO meets with amazing people on a regular basis. It would be great to have more townhalls with some of these amazing people as guest speakers.
