Pros

- supportive supervisors that are ways on hand if you need assistance. -consistant work with a regular school schedule with holidays and summer off - a summer school option -no long hours of working after school like some traditional teaching jobs -small teacher to student ratio - unlimited amount of supplies available for the asking

Cons

- health benefits are super expensive. The other benefits are affordable and good -salary vs hourly : not everyone is salaried so when there is no school or a shortened day, you only get paid for the time that you are there...which is difficult when there are early dismissals etc. - no real increase in pay - lots of materials that are slightly overwhelming that are some what required to incorporate in your teaching

Pros

There is a pretty decent hourly pay.

Cons

Even though the hourly pay is nice, there are so many days off that you don't get paid.
