Pros

Some teams can be good, mixed bag. Opportunity to work on some cool projects. Flexible 9/80 schedule and decent holidays. Pay is above average for area, but below across industry.

Cons

Intra-company politics make for rigid processes and stifle productive work. Regularly encourage overtime to meet unrealistic goals. No care for employees from upper management. You are a pawn and treated like one. As a SWE, I was made to train for a factory line position in the event of a union strike. Company is willing to pit engineers against other employees for upper management and shareholder benefit. Constant offshoring of engineering jobs to keep wages low at the expense of quality. Most new hires are non-US positions.
