Pros

Large R&D budgets to work on exciting projects.

Cons

A lot of leadership that has never actually been part of bringing anything to market. The company went thru a phase where it wasn't important if you ever did anything as long as you could give a good presentation. Now that they are in charge they have no idea how anything gets done. They are wheeling out new processes that Chrysler abandoned two bankruptcies ago. We used to joke about the engineers at the big three did nothing but attend meetings all day long. Now we are the joke.

Pros

Pay. Hope that is enough for you.

Cons

Senior management are borderline criminal. Exploiting employees and favoritism for promotions is common here. They'll work you to the bone if you let them. Waaaaay to many employees near retirement that have basically given up and just show up to get a pay check. Unfortunately these are also many of the mid-level managers.

Pros

Great health cover, forward thinking company.

Cons

Like all large organisations, too much politics and red tape. Very US-centric. Low pay.
