Pros

Fortune 50 company, product diversity, decent upward mobility. Happy to work for a U.S. iconic manufacturing company that impacts the entire world.

Cons

Although Caterpillar has product diversity it lacks significant profit margin in the majority of its products therefore when certain markets are performing poorly, difficult management decision are tossed around.

Pros

Teaches you some skills, was once a American Dream Job...

Cons

Not Union Friendly, Lay offs.. Lay offs... Lay offs..., 6 year pay freeze, raising medical expenses... CEO gives him self a 16 million dollar bonus while asking the employees for a pay freeze. If you get hurt they will do their best to prove it was your fault and fire you.
