      Pros

      1. Probably the best pay packages in the Industry. 2. Above average benefits, overtime, allowances. 3. Pretty low-pressure job.

      Cons

      1. Some managers unprofessional. 2. Lack of vision in senior management. 3. Serious problems in delegation, authority, control of a professional environment. Too much bureaucracy. 4. Poor work ethic. Like someone said, 'Caterpillar Chennai is No. 1 only in thinking it is No. 1'. 5. Top management does not mingle with lower level staff in India. No get together sessions, too little communication. 6. Can't have an interesting conversation with colleagues or managers.

      it provides the best working environment and atmosphere. I am very glad to join the group for the RAMS analysis.

      Pros

      The people are genuinely caring of one another here. I have yet to see anyone looking down at anyone else. Even the directors & VPs at Caterpillar aren't shy with conversing and mingling with those working at the ground level. Benefits are industry-leading and the pay is competitive. Work/Life balance is great, and the environment is very low-stress. They go the extra mile here to make sure their employees are happy.

      Cons

      Moving up in the ladder requires relocation. I am constantly seeing people get promoted, and at the same time, those people are usually relocating to a different facility, and sometimes even a different country. It seems like it would be very difficult to make your way up the ladder if you don't want to relocate.
