Pros

- Competitive salary for Data Scientists when considering that this isn't London - Long established company (Perkins, which was bought by Caterpillar 20+ years ago) with good company culture - Progression pathways, opportunities to mentor/get mentored, etc - Best of both worlds when it comes to the US-UK professional culture - exposure to American corporate culture while retaining a British feel and work values

Cons

- Company has moved to 5-days in the office - A well established company employee grade system that sometimes feel stifling and can discourage quick moves up the ladder - Considering the recent economic situation around the world, a tightening of the belt has been put into place when it comes to things like international business travel

NOT Winning The Right Way

Pros

Equitable work/life balance. Some good people.

Cons

Heavily siloed, ridiculous processes, completely dysfunctional - this place makes the federal government look efficient. Despite the brand's reputation, it's a surprisingly un-American and anti-American company. The company is made up of a ton of cheap foreign labor, and is constantly offshoring American jobs. Additionally, the company uses a ton of temp/contract workers and H-1B visas. This company uses and throws away more people, faster than you would believe. The company's motto is "win the right way", which couldn't be further from the truth. This is an unethical, faceless, anti-American, globalist corporation, that only cares about the bottom line. If you are seeking employment, look elsewhere.
