      Pros

      Largely union so there is support if you need it. Overall good pay and there is still some catholic affiliation if you seek it out.

      Cons

      It is a very financially driven institution. It is also very incestuous, by that I mean that it is not always what you know but who you know. Largely micromanaged.

      no promotions from within unless you "know someone". no feedback on job performance unless you do something wrong. want you to do more & more and not compenate you for it.

      Pros

      The best thing about this place is the health care benefits, but they will cost you about $150 per pay.

      Cons

      If you are lucky, your manager is clueless and just doesn't care about anything but has no skills to manage. If you are unlucky, your boss will make your life miserable. Training is non-existent. Promotions? What are they? PTO is used for sick time and holidays. Holidays are 5x/ year. If you need time off and have no PTO, you will hear about it. Staff is miserable, nosy, and backstabbing. You can bet they will go through your personal items, when you are not around, and take what they please. Forget transferring to another department. Your current department will not let you leave.
