Pros

Compensation is adequate/competitive. Benefits are good. Future revenue prospects are encouraging. People care about ethical business conduct and excellent work quality. There is also general awareness of, and efforts made to support, employees' mental health, which seems sincere.

Cons

My department is chronically understaffed, which leads to very long work days (12 hours or more) and constant pressure to deal with day-to-day "emergencies" while also completing more long-term deliverables, all with unrealistic deadlines.
