Pros

As a CSA onboard Celebrity Cruises ship, one can make a relatively good money, $ 1980 is your monthly basic salary + $ 1100 or more bonus if you reach the monthly sales target. In general one can count to be making roughly $3000 -3500 a month. plus if you cross promote and sell Celebrity Signature Credit Cards to celebrity passengers, you can also make additional $22 per application. Having pitched in 10-15 credit cards in a month period by simply mentioning this financial product to the passengers, that's additional $ 220-330 towards your paycheck.

Cons

In this onboard job position you have no life. Contracts are 6 months onboard and 6 weeks at home. You have no days off ever. A day off is considered than you have worked 6-8 hours on a port day instead of 11-12 on a sea day. And you are expected to be grateful for this job because everyone else is working the same long hours, 10-12 everyday, but their jobs are not so "nice" as yours. Lunch and dinner brakes are 30 mins each, shipboard management is all about the revenue and making the target. No social life, very restricted shore leave.
