Pros

I loved working here and being a part of the scientific community.

Cons

There were severe changes that made the job a nightmare. Also, even though we had a certain amount of paid days as part of our original sign on packages, we had 10 days of PTO taken away from us through a "restructuring" of how it was supposed work, but it was really just so they didn't have to pay for 10 extra days off for us. They also renamed all the jobs so that they didn't match the broader market and we couldn't argue that we were not being paid even remotely close to fair market rates.

Pros

Healthy social environment, good health and retirement benefits, flex work, good amount of PTO, mistakes are treated as learning opportunities

Cons

Disorganized/disrespectful upper management, poor accountability for people managers, disorganized internal resources, low/mediocre pay, low diversity. Depending on the department and manager, DEI and psychological safety initiatives can be all talk with little to no action.
