Pros

The flexibility is unlike any other with similar compensation. The work environment is incredibly supportive. For a commission job, everyone is extremely helpful and caring. The interview process was phenomenal. Extremely professional. Entrepreneurial environment. Ability to give yourself a raise by simply working more.

Cons

You have to learn how to unplug from the office. Customers receive your phone number on each receipt, so be sure to provide great service to everyone...this can turn this con into a pro.

Pros

sales experience, meeting new clients and interacting with the public and community. Not a whole of positive anything goes on at this company except for padding the pockets of the "very few"

Cons

When the company went corporate a few years ago everything went downhill. Company turnover is around about 50- 60 percent thus leading to a decline in good salespeople, decline in pay and leaving little room for growth opportunity. To make money you have to sell Refurbished Equipment on two year contracts. You have to overcharge customers in accordance to VerizonWIreless online or corporate stores. The reps lie and then leave other rep to clean up their messes, which is why you rotate stores everyday. The East Tennessee Market is truly operated like a 3rd rate convenient store. Immaturity and ignorance reigns supreme here and I would avoid this market if your family, your income and social life are important to you. They will pump you up with all these statistics, their success from years past and when you get your paycheck your jaw hits the floor when you see your deactivations. Believe the negative reviews you read and disregard the positive reviews of this company as it is most likely a complete line of crap and someone who was told to write a good review..They encourage their Managers, RD's, Recruiters and other leaders to write good reviews on sites like this one.

Pros

Schedule flexibility. That's IT. I have nothing else to say about them to be honestl.

Cons

Deacts-random deactivations show up on your check even if a customer has not deacted. So in a given month, you may only have about $70 taken from your paycheck (RARE), the biggest majority of the time they are $300, $500, $800... I have had as much as $1,700 taken from my paycheck. Some were verifiable and accurate, and more often than not it was the fault of another rep, not me! So yes, you SHARE commissions AND deacts. If inventory goes missing from your store, it comes out of your check! You're welcome. Management (LOL) if you want to call them that, are constantly nagging on all kinds of randomness that more often than not will not have a thing to do with you or anything you can affect change on. Verizon store support reps are awesome, but they "leadership" stays nervous when they are in the store. If you work a slow location, you may not make a PENNY even though you spent 8+ hours in a store. Is it the EMPLOYEES' fault that there are no customers in the store? No. Advertise! I went so far as to cold call to bring people in and NOTHING helped.
