Pros

Flexibility is a plus depending on personality and if you are more of a go getter than others. Great for entry level position into sales. Room for growth in other markets.

Cons

Management lack stability and high turnover in employment. The new hire process is lacking and misses the mark to make one successful out of the gate after a grueling and challenging experience to be coded. Good ole boys environment; so if one is less than fond of you, you will be gone soon. Either force exiting or termination for some mediocre situation that has and often occurs in the industry.

A Last Resort Job

Pros

-Having fun with co-workers; misery loves company. -Job is not too difficult and relatively low stress -Not having a manager hovering over you all day

Cons

-commissions keep dropping -splitting equipment loss with the company will destroy your earnings -you will drive long distances to certain stores eating up gas and putting wear and tear on your vehicle -no room for professional growth; you will most likely remain a sales rep forever unless you personally know someone higher up -Some sales practices are unethical and I will never walk into a Cellular Sales as a customer

Pros

It is very flexible and easy to pick up extra shifts and you get to work with a lot of great people.

Cons

This is 100% commission job and it seems like commissions drop quarterly. You are charged for missing inventory items. If a product you sell on contract is cancelled within first 6 months you, the commission is taken out of your check.
