Pros

The job pays decent money, not as much as they used to, as you will be on a shared commission plan. Overall, not bad, it its good sales experience, good for your resume, helped me land another job in sales.

Cons

Shared commission is kind of a bummer, from an overall business standpoint, its not a bad idea. Customers seem to benefit from this style of business, they will receive help from all angles. From an individual sales person standpoint, it sucks. They will have you travel to different locations around your city, which can be a pain, especially with gas prices the way they are. Commission checks can take up to 2 months or longer

Pros

No micro managing, Meet and work with cool people, Great Learning experience, If you just graduated college and dont have a lot of bills this is a decent stepping stone

Cons

at least an hour drive everyday I averaged 3500-4000 miles a month, there isnt a FULL paycheck till after 3rd month on sales floor, no compensation for travel whatsoever, if you have to take draws against commission be careful your setting yourself even further behind, You will be charged off for any items missing items from stores, the higher ups in this company put a lot of the risks on us "employees" you will see what I mean,

Pros

You learn valuable communications skills that will benefit you in any work place. The supervisors are great and really look for ways to help you improve. There are no egos within management, everyone is willing to help you! A lot of room for advancement (with the growth of Cellular Sales new jobs are being created everyday!) If you don't excel in one area, there are several other areas in the call center to excel at.

Cons

If you don't like change or adapt to it well, working at the call center might be challenging for you.
