Pros

No direct management - You don't have someone micromanaging your every move every day Flexible schedule - If you need to call in sick or take some time off, you don't need to request it if someone can work for you. Discounted phone plan

Cons

Pay has substantially declined in the last 16 months Turnover rate is increasing If you don't meet minimum requirements, you are put in a situation where it forces you to quit so you can't collect unemployment Training is broken and inconsistent. At times, people who are hired are not close to being qualified to perform job function No room for growth. Company has ceased to expand as of the beginning of the year. Rumors are the company is going to be sold in a next year or two.

Pros

No micro managing, Meet and work with cool people, Great Learning experience, If you just graduated college and dont have a lot of bills this is a decent stepping stone

Cons

at least an hour drive everyday I averaged 3500-4000 miles a month, there isnt a FULL paycheck till after 3rd month on sales floor, no compensation for travel whatsoever, if you have to take draws against commission be careful your setting yourself even further behind, You will be charged off for any items missing items from stores, the higher ups in this company put a lot of the risks on us "employees" you will see what I mean,

Flexible schedule The Sales Reps are great Co-workers

Cons

100% Commission - can work 8 hours and make $0 Half of your Paycheck could go to deacts If inventory goes missing, rather than taking a loss, the company takes it out of the reps paychecks Paperwork messed up several times by the back office resulting in the reps losing money from their checks Numbers are their ONLY concern No compensation for the first 2 months you work there Contacting upper management for help when your pay is at stake - NO HELP. Call to say you need help with a sale to make them more money - they're on it right away. This company doesn't care about its employees - to them you are disposable and easily replaced
