Really looks after staff

Pros

It really looks after its staff - takes into consideration mental health and wellbeing (for example it gave us Mental Health Day as a day off) and has been very open and understanding regarding covid. It is also very transparent with what's going on higher up in the company. In normal times, the opportunities for travel are great too.

Cons

Refusal to let people work from home apart from in exceptional circumstances is unnecessarily inflexible. Hopefully the pandemic has shown that it is possible and effective. The general subject matter/target audience of the company doesn't particularly interest me, but that's more of a personal preference.

Pros

Good company with growth ambitions and always looking at new products to develop. Interesting projects to get involved with however, this does need to be balanced with 'day job'. It's quite a young company and in 'normal' times has a good social element. There are lots of CSR activities and various networks to get involved with if you wish and it is actively encouraged.

Cons

Pace of work can be high at times, especially at crunch times
