Favoritism and very competitive so it’s hard to move up

Very corporate environment, executives get multi-billion dollar bonuses each year while justifying the need for mass layoffs. They don't let direct managers in on the conversation of who gets let go if a team if over staffed. You can work on a team you love, and the next day be told you are being forced to a new team, and there are a ton of micromanagers that make it miserable. Like any other big business, upper management loves to talk about how we are in everything together as one team, but they are quick to throw each other under a bus, including their own staff.
