Pros

Working remotely, equipment set up.

Cons

Low pay, poor benefits, lots of weekend and holiday hours. No clear expectations- just how you compare to others on the team. Senior leaders will ask for feedback but they don’t want to hear anything negative. Very administrative and not clinical. It’s all about money and numbers- not their members.

Pros

Fortune 500 company with a future and a good mission. Good benefits. Some wonderful committed people worked with me and served their members well.

Cons

I found management wouldn't allow for lateral transfer of hired counselors or social workers in Utilization Management out of their Dallas office so I moved on. I found little room for growth here in Utilization Management
