Great Company with Room for Improvement.

Pros

-A company that cares. As a non-profit with a surprisingly large wallet, they try their hardest on a top down perspective to make people happy. and it's all genuine. -Fun and smart people to work with. Almost everyone is very nice. -Interesting sector. You're working in a sector that matters. -Nice offices. I didn't see them much during my tenure admittedly. -Great benefits. Health benefits are great, on top of others!

Cons

-A lot of processes. Change and adaptation are slow, almost at a government pace. -Kinda cliquey. Not aggressively or toxically so, but who you're in with definitely makes your life easier. -Lack of diversity. They're trying hard to fix this at the time I left, but it's still lacking.

Pros

CIS is a unique environment, with a diverse, supportive, and talented staff. The primary mission at CIS is to enable the world to have a secure internet experience. There is a true dedication to making that happen as it is personal battle as we see the attempted security attacks to our friends, family and to us. In addition, there is a strong sense of community and active outreach to support making the world a better place. The feel is like a startup, fast paced and growing; while having the recognition and history of a longer established company.

Cons

Like any booming startup roles are dynamic and fluid. It can be a positive for some and a challenge for others.
