Pros

salary isn't bad along with pretty good healthcare and some ok options for taking time off like vacations and sick leave which was one of my selling points when I joined the organization

Cons

I don't feel welcome on the team, from a diversity perspective, and think a lot more could be done to make other people feel welcome especially from disadvantaged backgrounds like minorities or people with disabilities

CIS is a unique environment, with a diverse, supportive, and talented staff. The primary mission at CIS is to enable the world to have a secure internet experience. There is a true dedication to making that happen as it is personal battle as we see the attempted security attacks to our friends, family and to us. In addition, there is a strong sense of community and active outreach to support making the world a better place. The feel is like a startup, fast paced and growing; while having the recognition and history of a longer established company.

Cons

Like any booming startup roles are dynamic and fluid. It can be a positive for some and a challenge for others.
