Pros

Had a paycheck. Opportunity is what you make of it. Was able to learn some stuff, gain some experience, and meet a few nice people.

Cons

They pay you the least they can, constantly increase the workload (more hours), and offer no support. No reward for going above and beyond. The “leaders” defend hostile management by citing “corporate pressure”. Work-life balance is frowned upon. The moment a manager takes a personal disliking to you, they work on “managing you out the door” in the back. High attrition rate from top to bottom. You are expected to work from 6 AM to 9 PM daily to support emergency weather responses. After years of living in fear and clinging to “stability”, I found a job with a much more people-centric culture paying me significantly more as well.
