Pros

Opportunities to advance, friendly office environment, ethical decision making, positive work culture, supportive leaders, competitive compensation, team work across departments at the Alton office, leadership is accessible, and a great place to learn and grow in many areas of behavioral health

Cons

Relationships between other regions and states are sometimes challenging. I think PTO could be improved for staff in their first 2 years.

Pros

Smart, collaborative coworkers. Working with important & meaningful programs. Opportunity to gain experience with analysis, report writing, and data visualization. Flex time & WFH.

Cons

Evaluation Associate pay was not very competitive. SAMHSA has many evaluation requirements, & it was a challenge to make time for creative, use-focused eval activities. Across the org overall, not much recognition for the eval team even though we made up the majority of the Research Institute.
