Mostly Good Place to Work...
Pros
This bank is family oriented with a strong focus on building good relationships with clients and local communities. Employee benefits include: an on-site clinic that offers free prescriptions, college tuition reimbursement, employee assistance programs like the CARE fund, a fun culture that promotes celebrations, decent vacation time, and has a very low turnover rate.
Cons
Extremely difficult to get into different departments. HR is good at being sympathetic and understanding, but needs to work on coaching employees in constructive ways to promote advancement. Entry level positions require 15+ years bank experience and/or a Bachelor's degree which makes advancement difficult for most. Hours are being cut across the board for most retail positions, and raises are minimal at best.
