Ran like a high school

Pros

Provided real world scenario so that transitioning into the real world was much easier. They started out at at minimum wage which is better then nothing

Cons

Ran like a high school drama club. Supervisors and management thought they were better than everybody else. They look at us like newbies freshly off of drugs bound to relapse any second. Maybe because people have, but at least give us the benefit of the doubt. They gossip there like crazy. There's certain cliques that form and they will band together and team up on people they don't like. Because the girls there are friends with management, they never do anything to them. Too much brown nosing, but now I know how to kiss butt in order to get far.if you want to survive in that environment you need to be friends with all the girls who have been there the longest or else they will team up on you and make up lies. These girls may be off drugs but they're still scandalous

Not a good place to work

Pros

Helping people. Some of the co-workers are great.

Cons

They implement changes that they aren't at all prepared for, they hire managers that are not equipped to be managers. They only care about numbers and budgets and not about the people that are being served. The request more than what is possible; they don't care about burn out, they will run you into the ground then ask you to do more. They changed the EHR and nobody knows how to use it so things are stupid crazy and management just cares about the look good... all full of excuses and empty promises.

Pros

Direct supervisors were the best I’ve ever had, work life balance, client work, some flexibility

Cons

Pay, gaslighting from upper management, constantly understaffed, rarely ever got clear answers for things, big pay inequity, everything seemed highly disorganized
