Pros

In person academic advisor department is great. Very good working environment for the most part. Leadership and colleagues in this office are great to be around and everyone encourages and help each other out.

Cons

The only con is overlapping of responsibility of task at times of other departments. I will say as the personnel in other departments has adequately staff things has become better.

I personally had great bosses. Benefits were solid. Got to work on fun projects.

Cons

Impossible for rank and file to get a raise. So much political drama and bureaucratic incompetence made doing anything impossible. It once took us over a year to get a single purchase order approved despite having funds available.
