Higher pay than many trucking companies, allegedly. Lots of promises of long routes on hire.

Cons

Linehaul routing never adds up to what is promised. Linehaul drivers wait for hours sometimes, unpaid, just to be given an empty and sent home. Linehaul route pay doesn't accurately reflect distances. City routes are inconsistent, and there is rarely a working number to contact customers with delivery issues. No direct way for employees to contact the company with issues - there is a dead end on the phone tree that tells you to talk to your manager. Beat-up trailers constantly arriving with poorly-loaded cargo.

Pros

Flexible part-time scheduling, which worked well with my other commitments. Fast-paced environment where I was able to learn quickly and stay active throughout shifts. Gave me exposure to the logistics and transportation industry. Opportunities to pick up extra shifts when available.

Cons

Workload could be physically demanding, especially during busy periods. Communication between management and employees wasn’t always consistent. Limited training at the start — a lot of learning happens on the job. Pay and benefits for part-time staff were fairly basic compared to industry standards.
