Pros
Short distance to travel to grab a quick lunch. The good people that are still there are trying to get out. I am no longer working there.
Cons
No raises in over ten years for employees. Extreme lack of HR and Management support. The Burton's have squandered money and blame the over worked employees for their poor decision making. Sexual harassment is extremely out of control - nothing is done about it after many complaints. After the complaints are made, retaliation takes place, and the individual with the complaint is no longer employed a month later. The benefits are horrific. They are shutting down plants left and right. Their stock is the worst I've ever seen. If you are a salary employee and do not purchase their stock, they will fire you. The presses that exist in the facilities are run down, broken down, and ancient. Instead of investing in fixing or purchasing new machinery, they approve credit card purchases for large dinners, unnecessary travel expenses, strip club adventures, and Go-Kart outings for upper management employees. They relieve their experienced, hard working employees with several years of tenure, just to hire in confused, inexperienced employees that have the same mind set of the Burton's. Horrible place to work.....horrible culture, horrible employee morale.
