      I was hired to work for product but when I joined almost all new hired people from product division were pulled into PS (professional services) due several issues they were facing. during initial time all I observed was chaos, issues and constant escalations. eventually it was apparent that the PS (Pune / India site) was mess because of non technical people managing the show, especially the PS head in India, a non-techie with no experience to manage the PS division. Never seen any product company with a director level person is unskilled and so incompetent. the work culture was based on favoritism. mainly PS is a place where your skills and career aspirations are wasted.
